Chris completed his law degree at Monash University in 2003. He came to the Bar with five years of experience practicing as a lawyer in family law and commercial litigation. Firms he worked at include Macpherson + Kelley, Mallesons Stephen Jaques, and Robin Harrison & Associates.
Chris now predominantly practices all areas of family law arising from matrimonial and de facto relationships, including parenting and property proceedings. He regularly appears in, and drafts documents for, the Federal Circuit Court (formerly the Federal Magistrates' Court), and the Family Court, and represents both private paying clients and those funded by Victoria Legal Aid. Chris also regularly appears in Applications for Intervention Orders.
Chris also has extensive experience in commercial litigation. He has represented clients in a wide range of mostly contractual disputes. The majority of these matters have settled via mediation.
