Shane studied law in the Northern Territory following which
he was an Associate in the Supreme Court of the Northern territory in 1995.

Since coming to the Bar in 1998, Shane has appeared in trials in civil and criminal law but now practises principally in family law.

Shane is a nationally accredited mediator and holds mediations in family law with an emphasis on parenting matters.

Shane's practice has now broadened to encompass any cause involving family members, civil disputes, neighbourhood matters, and complex inter-personal issues.
