Todd has been practising criminal law since 1999, initially as a police prosecutor (Tasmania), until commencing practice in NSW for the Roads and Traffic Authority as an in-house Senior Solicitor (Prosecutions & Enforcement) in January 2009. At the RTA he gained extensive experience in public law.
Being part of an in-house government legal practice, Todd gained experience in admin law, IP, MVA (including heavy transport) and freedom of information.
Todd now practices predominately in criminal and family law, which includes IVO and family violence. Todd served in the Tasmania Police Force for 17 years. His prior law enforcement experience has proved invaluable to his clients, particularly in the areas of Criminal Law and IVO.
He also maintains a small admin law, MVA and personal injury practice.
Todd has also appears regularly in the appellate court as lead counsel.
