Greg Barns, SC

Greg Barns SC practices in the areas of Criminal law, Administrative Law and Institutional Abuse Claims. He appears for defendants in criminal trials in the Magistrates, County and Supreme Courts as well as advising and appearing in criminal appeals. Greg acts in migration cases in applications and appeals before the Federal Court. He also practices in the areas of discrimination and occupational licensing.  Greg is regularly briefed in Institutional Abuse cases. 

Greg is also a member of the Tasmanian Bar, the Western Australian Bar and the New Zealand Bar and has Chambers in Perth, Brisbane and Hobart in addition to Melbourne. Greg teaches in the RMIT University JD Program.
