Priya recently returned to the Bar after working at the Office of the Public Advocate for five years. She practises in wills and estates, family provision, and guardianship and administration. She has appeared in the Supreme Court, County Court, Magistrates' Court, Children's Court, Coroner's Court and VCAT.

She has advised on and appeared in family provision claims and matters concerning testamentary capacity, informal wills, removal of executors, administration of estates and executor's commission. She has also appeared in child protection matters and intervention order applications, inquests, and numerous guardianship and administration matters.

Priya practised as a solicitor at Maddocks before first coming to the Bar in 2009, and previously worked in the public and not-for-profit sectors.
