Eva accepts briefs for appearance work in all Victorian courts and tribunals. She has experience in a variety of matters, including motor vehicle insurance contested hearings, building and construction disputes, general commercial matters, and debt recoveries. Since coming to the bar, Eva has appeared at mediations, compulsory conferences, applications and interlocutory hearings, in addition to final hearings. Eva also has experience in appearing by phone, as well as videoconferencing.

Eva also accepts briefs in criminal matters, including bail applications, pleas, mentions and contested summary hearings; and matters in the Family Division of the Children’s Court. She has particular interest in appellate work.

In addition to appearance briefs, Eva also accepts paperwork briefs, and has significant experience in drawing pleadings for all stages of proceedings, particularly in general commercial matters. Eva is also able to prepare written submissions in support of applications, as well as drafting affidavits.

Further, Eva accepts briefs to advise, particularly in relation to building and construction and insurance matters.

Prior to coming to the bar, Eva gained experience as a solicitor and paralegal, including carriage of many litigated matters in courts and tribunals in Queensland, NSW, ACT and Victoria, for both plaintiffs and defendants.
