Sarah Mansfield
Sarah was admitted to practice in 1999 working as a Duty Lawyer for Victoria Legal Aid, working in all aspects of Family Law at the Family Court and Federal Magistrates Court in Melbourne.
Her role also included providing Duty Lawyer services for Intervention Order proceedings at the Melbourne Magistrates Court. In 2003, Sarah was admitted to practice in England and Wales and spent two years working in private firms in London.
In this period she continued to work in her chosen field of Family Law, dealing with private clients, publicly funded matters and care proceedings. Upon her return to Australia in 2005, Sarah was instrumental in establishing the alternate Duty Lawyer service (the Family Law Legal Service) at the Family Court and Federal Magistrates Court in Melbourne. Sarah's experience centres around Court and advocacy work.
