Teresa Porritt

Prior to being called to the Bar, Teresa was employed as a solicitor for the Department of Human Services. Her work included appearances in relation to coronial inquests; applications for the return of children under the Hague Convention on International Child Abduction; reviews relating to the supervision of offenders under the Crimes(Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act; and the review of decisions made pursuant to the Disability Act and Adoption Act. Before this, Teresa was an Associate at the Supreme Court to the Honourable Justice Coldrey where she assisted His Honour in the Criminal Division.
