Anjali Griffiths
Anjali appears in the Magistrates', Children's and County Courts in all manner of criminal, family violence, child protection and crimes compensations cases. She has particular experience working with indigenous clients, and children and young people.
Before coming to the Bar, Anjali had a mix of experience in both criminal prosecutions and defence work.
She completed her Articles of Clerkship with the Commonwealth DPP in March 2003 and stayed there in the general prosecutions branch until leaving to work for Victoria Legal Aid.
In 2004 and 2005 Anjali worked in the Bendigo regional office of VLA and consequently has experience in all aspects of criminal law in the Magistrates' and County Courts, as well as in all Children's Court proceedings (both criminal and family divisions). Immediately prior to being called to the Bar, Anjali was employed as a Solicitor Advocate at the Fitzroy Legal Service where she worked as a criminal defence advocate.
