Daryl has appeared in a number of leading cases in the Court of Appeal and is extensively involved in the current Monsanto Roundup litigation.
Daryl was a partner at Zaparas Lawyers before being called to the Bar in 1990. For several years Daryl was Honorary Secretary of the Victorian Bar.
Outside his legal experience Daryl served as a Lieutenant in the Royal Australian Navy Reserve.
Daryl also has broad experience in legal and business development in Cambodia and other Asian countries and was treasurer and a founding member of the Cambodian Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (CAMEC). A significant focus has been on providing a high level of strategic commercial and legal advice to the National Government of Cambodia through a number of Ministries as well as business groups and individuals.
Daryl also founded Cambodian Environment Limited in 2009 and built it to be a leader in providing multidisciplinary environmental consulting services for Government organizations and private sector clients.
Daryl is a Grand Officer of the Royal Order of Cambodia (ROC), a Cambodian order of Knighthood in reward for distinguished service to Cambodia.
